In March, eight Vietnamese fishermen drowned in a similar collision off Vung Tau, in which a cargo ship kept going after hitting a fishing ship. Readers can hope a similar volume gets published for at least the frigates of the Marine nationale, and possibly those of the United States Navy. These ships had a characteristic square sail. They were present to observe the performance of the ship on her maiden voyage, so that problems, if any, could be noted and rectified. If ships were people, this one would be the kid who ate paste off a stick.
